Ten years
ago, Xue Pritzkau began to seek art for their home. After visiting
several galleries, she declared, I can paint as well as these
artists. She had studied painting one summer with her uncle,
a Chinese master. He recognized her talent immediately and was disappointed
she did not continue her study. He would be pleased now that she
has evolved into a very gifted, intuitive artist.

Gheorghe Tirla
is considered one of the emerging stars in Romanian art. Painting
in thick, power strokes, his work conveys a dynamic energy. Although
his subjects are representational, the paintings are very abstract
in composition. It is this merging of the representational with
the abstract that mark Tirlas work. As an emerging artist,
the work offers solid value.

Vasile Gheorghita
is viewed in Romania as one of the countrys great masters.
He exhibited at the National Exhibition in Bucharest for 25 straight
years. Although he paints many subjects, his popular nudes have
a playful, innocent charm.
A modest man, he rejects the precept ion of being n master. I
go to my workshop everyday as other people go to the factory. I
never get bored. Nobody can get bored in a complex world like ours
unless they are poor in spirit
